San Fermin is coming to London!!! Join the celebration on Saturday-Larunbata 10th July-Uztaila 2010!!!
We are organising an entzierroa (running of the bulls) followed by a kalejira (pub crawl with music) to London Fields where we'll have a picnic and will spend the afternoon playing Basque games and drinking sangria. It'll be a lot of fun.
We'll be meeting outside Oxford House on Saturday the 10th of July at 12pm for the Txupinazoa so come and join us there or find us in London Fields later on during the day.
San Ferminak gerturatzen ari direla eta aurtengoan Londresean ospatzea okurritu zaigu, horretarako Uztailak 10, Larunbata, eguardiko 12etan batuko gara Oxford House kanpokaldean, bertan txupinazoa bota eta entzierroa egingo dugu (kartoiezko zezenarekin noski!), ondoren London Fieldsera abiatuko gara kalejiran eta bertan egun pasa egingo dugu piknika eta Sangriaz lagundurik, joko ezberdinak ere antolatuko ditugu egunari kolorea emateko. Zihur gaude primeran pasako dugula, beraz animatu eta etor zaitez gurekin Londreseko San Ferminetara!!
The San Fermines festival in Nafarroa, Basque Country, is a deeply rooted celebration held annually from 12:00, 6 July when the opening of the fiesta is marked by setting off the pyrotechnic txupinazoa, to midnight 14 July, with the singing of the Pobre de Mi!. It has become probably the most internationally renowned jaiak in the Basque Country. Over 1,000,000 people go and take part in this festival every year.
