As every two years the Korrika celebrations were held in London to coincide with the same event in the Basque country. The festival began late afternoon with the traditional running in the park next to Oxford House. A concert followed with Basque music band Fjord and Radio Revolution (from London.) A series of a few technical and logistic failures not of the Basque Society’s making disfigured the event this time, and we incurred in certain losses that we all have to aim at recovering in the near future. As usual, the hard work of volunteers is to be highly praised. Thank you. -------------------------------

Bi urtero gertatzen den bezala, aurten ere Korrika ospatu zen Londresen Euskal Herriko ekimenekin bat etorriz. Jailadia Korrika berarekin hasi zen Oxford House aldamenean dagoen parkean hainbat jende parte hartu zuelarik. Ondoren kontzertua izan zen Fjord talde euskalduna eta Londreseko Radio Revolution-ekoek luze aritu zirelarik. Euskal Elkarteko eskutik kanpo zeuden zenbait arazo tekniko eta logistiko suertatu zen aurtengoan, eta ondorioz baita dirua galdu ere. Galdutakoak laister berreskuratze aldera, espero dugu zer edo zer asmatuko dugula denon artean. Beti bezala, hala ere, goraipatzekoa da hemen hainbat kideek emandako borondatezko lana eta laguntza. Mila esker.
